  1. Colosseum — outside view (the interior needs pre-booked skip-the-line tickets, 2+ hrs).
  2. Via dei Fori Imperiali — a 10-min walk with views over the Roman Forum.
  3. Piazza Venezia & the Vittoriano — the vast white marble monument.
  4. Trevi Fountain — 15 min on; toss a coin over your left shoulder.
  5. Pantheon — 10 min; the 2,000-year-old dome.
  6. Piazza Navona — finish here, Bernini's fountain — a good spot for dinner.
⚑ Flag — Rome is one afternoon only. The walk catches the headline sights; pre-book Colosseum tickets if you want to go inside.
